Terms of service

1. Agreement

By creating a Connexolve BGV account, you agree to these terms. They govern your use of the platform and the verification services we provide. Connexolve Technologies ("we", "us") is an Indian company based in Kolkata.

2. Who can sign up

  • You must be 18 or older and a verified PAN holder, OR
  • You must be an authorised representative of a GSTIN-registered Indian business

We verify your identity at signup. Accounts created with fraudulent or fabricated PAN/GSTIN information will be suspended without notice.

3. What you can use the service for

Connexolve BGV is for lawful background verification of:

  • Employees and contractors you are considering hiring
  • Vendors and business partners you are considering engaging
  • Tenants, where lawful under applicable rental laws
  • Other lawful business purposes where the subject has consented

4. What you cannot use the service for

You must not use Connexolve BGV to:

  • Verify any individual without their explicit, informed, written consent
  • Run verifications on minors (under 18) without parental consent
  • Stalk, harass, or harm any person
  • Discriminate unlawfully — results inform your decisions, they do not justify discrimination on protected grounds
  • Resell verifications as a competing service (this is a commercial-only platform, not a bulk-reseller channel)
  • Bypass our rate limits or scrape the platform

We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably suspect of misuse, with or without notice. Wallet balances at the time of termination are forfeit if the termination is for cause; otherwise refunded within 14 days.

5. Pricing & payment

  • Standard verifications: ₹10 per check.
  • Court records: ₹150 per check (passes through eCourts fees).
  • Bulk and enterprise pricing available on request.
  • Payments are processed via a third-party payment gateway. We do not store card details.
  • Wallet credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as described in section 6.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Changes don't apply to wallet balances already topped up.

6. Refunds

We refund:

  • Failed verifications where our system did not return any result
  • Duplicate charges due to platform error
  • Wallet balance on closure of an account in good standing

We do not refund:

  • Verifications that returned a result you didn't like (the API said what it said)
  • Court record searches that returned "no records found" — that is a valid result
  • Wallet balance on accounts terminated for breach of these terms

7. Accuracy

We pass your queries to government and verified third-party APIs and return their responses faithfully. We do not guarantee that the source data is correct, up-to-date, or complete — that depends on the upstream provider. You must not make irreversible decisions (e.g. firing, denial of housing) on a single Connexolve report alone.

8. Liability

Our maximum aggregate liability to you is the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹25,000, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Obtaining valid consent from every verification subject
  • Complying with the IT Act 2000, the DPDP Act 2023, the Aadhaar Act 2016, and any sector-specific rules that apply to your industry
  • Securing your account credentials — we will not be liable for unauthorised access caused by a leaked password
  • Maintaining accurate billing details

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 14 days' notice. We may terminate immediately for serious breaches (section 4). On termination, wallet credits in good standing are refunded within 14 days; data is retained for the compliance period described in our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

12. Changes

Material changes will be notified to account-holders by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
